CALL TO PRAYER
There is an urgent need for prayer over the future of the hospital which had to close on 6 October 2009 because no doctor can be found. A final Eye Camp was conducted in September 2009. THANKS FOR ANSWERS TO PRAYER
There have been difficult times over the past months but give thanks that the hospital managed to hold an Eye Camp (funded by Second Sight) from 10-20 January 2009 and again in March and September. See our news report. Please prayer for protection from renewed violence during the Indian general election period (April 2009).
CALL TO PRAYER
There is continuing concern over the threat of violence against Christians in Orissa. On the advice of the local police who fear it might be attacked, the hospital was closed temporarily in late August 2008.
